Grand Buffet in Hinckley

This is one of my favorite places to go. They pay out better, its clean, the staff is nice and the atmosphere is warm and exciting .

I went to play BINGO and almost got frostbite it was so cold....could barely hold my dabber my hand were so cold...I had a long sleeve shirt, flannel shirt and my heavy winter coat with fur hood over my head and still couldn't get warm.....was worse then being outside....many others complained also.....please close the freezer doors so we can enjoy playing again....by the way I go for the enjoyment and hope maybe one day I might win a game or two....five years playing and won 3 times.....think they make sure my packages are none winnable...lol. slots are fun and we usually try them after bingo as well....no big wins...but sometimes we get our bingo cost back....fun all around...

Quick check in and out. Rooms were clean and fresh. Although no cleaning service during our stay. Price was good.

Grand Casino is operating at full capacity. Unless southern casinos in Minnesota they have every other machine disabled to promote healthy social distancing. Grand has an enternce & exit doors with sanitizer, but that's all you'll find at this time.

Great casino, it was fairly empty when we went and I was happy with the measures they have taken during COVID. I would go back.

Great hospitality and alot of different slot machines. I have a good time at this casino.

Well- I seriously have not been to casino in years-went today and they require masks which I had some in my car- so not a big deal- even gave one to another customer who didn’t have one-but I feel like no slots were really paying out- so really not much fun- at least hook the people in a little. Spent to much money walked out of casino - telling myself I will never step foot in there again.

My husband came here with his baseball team and was playing blackjack. I was standing behind him (about 6' WITH A MASK ON) and a security guard came up to me out of nowhere with a terrible attitude and yelled at me about being 6 feet away from him and how it was my last warning before getting kicked out of the casino. I am disgusted with how he spoke to me and threatened me with no prior warning... He was on a major power trip and it was totally inappropriate. We will NOT be spending any more time or money here.

Cleaner than most. Still able to use beverage kiosks. Non-smoking in gaming areas.

Not a bad casino. I find it cluttered but enjoyable. The dealers and tables are nice aswell.

Not a good place to have fun very gloomy. They need to redo their corvid rules very unpleasant will not be visiting again. Ever!

Had fun and the food was good.. Didnt care for the room. They need to upgrade especially for the price.. Jacuzzi made up the lack in style

I always get lucky! Not saying that I always win money but I play responsibly and always get lucky here!

Can't smoke in their and has a very icky feeling. No bonus nothing. No hotels.

i had rented there king suite up on the 12th floor and it was absolutely gorgeous! i had a really good view where i was. i definately will go again

Probably one of the better casinos with COVID going around. Yes, you have to wear a mask. They're still open for food (very sanitary, tables in-between not used, wiped down before and after) the only thing I didn't like was that the only blackjack was high stakes, as was poker but I don't play that. The machines are on, and the casino is now smoke free but you can smoke in your hotel room (if you got a smoking room, otherwise be prepared to pay their fee for smoking in a non-smoking room!) Bar is still open. I THINK the arcade and pool might be closed but I'd call and ask first as I didn't use those.

My first time there for a long time and those machines are set so low you can't win a thing. I guess they need it more than i do. That's my grand casino story. You can take me off you mailings and email's.

I left something in my room and call within 2 hours of leaving and said it was not there. It had to be there cause I didn't have it. House keeping must have pocketed it. Also the food went way down hill since last time as was there. Also would have been nice to win a buck or 2 on the slots to keep playing. I put in a twenty and never won even a nickel. I won't be back here ever.

Nice place to stay for the price. They check your temp and you HAVE to have a mask in the casino. They have people on the floor constantly sanitizing and making sure people are wearing masks. As a student nurse, infection control is something I always look for. They did well!

Smoke free in the casino, but you have to wear a mask. Still a great time

My sister's and I stayed spent the nite at the main hotel on Saturday july 25th. We all had a great time. So many new machine's to play on it was hard to choose wich one to play. The food was good at very reasonably priced. Staff were all friendly and helpful. I got lost a couple times in the Casino and whomever staff I ask for help to find where I was going to everybody helped without being irrated at me.The rooms were very clean . Hotel check-in staff was also great. Thank You Hinkley for showing us a great nite. Margaret George.

We just stayed in Hinckley earlier this week. We were very pleased that there you had a temp check and the there was NO SMOKING on the casino floor. In your casino doing all this during this time you have made your customers feel safe and we thank you. The only thing I felt lacking was the cleaning of machines. I felt you could do better. All in all good job.

They have done a great job in ensuring that sanitation procedures are in place. Our room was very clean. The measures they have taken as outlined in their covid policy were followed to ensure their guest safety.

No smoking allowed! First time to not leave with a headache or my clothes smelling like secondhand smoke.

Their worthless website says $5. blackjack tables, when I get there the pit bosses in the blackjack area are clueless, they said the minimum bet is $10. BAIT AND SWITCH! I'm only going to Mytsic Lake Casino from now on, NO false advertising there.

Nice rooms. When I took a shower the water got all over the floor. If I wouldn't have put towels down I might have slipped and fell. My sister had a different room and had a problem with the shower also to the point that the carpet outside of bathroom was wet. They did give a discount but they need to reexamine their showers. Good food in the dining room.

It was fun. Didn't lose much which is unusual. It was nice to get out and about😊

I have absolutly no complaints. Their rewards club is very generous and they send out very good deals monthly based on your previous play and tier level. It was a very nice casino but I would not give it the top spot for Minnesota casinos and that is the only reason it has 4 stars rather than 5. Their rooms are/were always clean but we now have a camper so we stay in the RV Park. Highly recommended if you are into this type of entertainment.

Wish they had a better kids area. You're making a fortune off the casino, if you made the arcade affordable and fun so the kids would enjoy it, the adults could play longer.

My husband and I Visited July 2 2020. On arrival our temperatures were checked and were told we had to wear masks. I am 100% for the No Smoking policy in the Casino. This is the 3rd casino I've been in in the past month and this casino was by far the CLEANEST. I do contribute the cleanliness in part to your no smoking policy.. We were their from about 4 PM until 1230 AM.And we both soo enjoyed ourselves. We won..we lost then we won then we lost.But it was an a very enjoyable evening. I am not writing this because I went home a winner . NO. But we had a very enjoyable long evening winning and loosing. Seen many staff members going about picking up beverage containers a nd wiping down ares people left. As far as your No smoking policy I too used to smoke but I never left a machine area soo dirty as some people do these days. I for one have found my new favorite casino. Thank You Hinckley

Grand Casino in Hinkley is the Casino I can win bigger jackpots . Hand actually get hand pays fairly easily there. One of my favorite places to go.🤑🤑

Soooo many BIG machines to choose from to play. It's a bit overwhelming. It's most definitely no way the same when I worked in Grand Advantage in 2009-2010.

Great clean room, good water pressure...only one restaurant open during covid.

It's been a good while since I been here and I gotta say that the new restaurants look quite appealing and am looking forward to trying all of them! I got the egg scrambler for breakfast and onion rings.. I know wierd combo right... this was a nice getaway from being cooped up in the house. I'm not a real big gambler but I think bringing even 40 or 50 bucks will get you a good amount of play time. I always come just to have fun weather or not I win or lose just a added bonus to walk out ahead! Come check out the grand casino in Hinckley very clean and laid back atmosphere come with positive energy and see what happens you never know. Oh and thanks to Debbie at Grand Provisions for covering my 24 cents that I was short on my food order! Very nice gesture!

This is my new favorite casino in Minnesota. It seems like they have the slots cranked up to pay out to get customers back after the COVID closure. Either that or a lot of people have been on a hot streak there lately! I’m going to keep taking advantage of it cause I’m on their money and they are treating me awesome with perks. It’s the complete opposite attitude of the little casinos up north. Thanks Hinckley Grand!

They checked everyone's temp at the door by looking into whatever technology they were using. Very nice. Gotta love free refreshments too.

Do not know what is going on with their slot machines taking all your money without giving you a chance to win anything. No point of playing anymore for fun. Especially when the prizes and rewards are not available now.

Food was good. Bed was comfortable not enough cleaning of machines between players most people adhered to the 6 ft spacing

This is a great Casino! Vibrant and well laid out! They have a very nice membership/rewards program here that make it easy to use and get money for as well as great selection of restaurants and food! The only complaint I do have is that I wish they had more blackjack tables, just a few more. I will definitely return here in the very near future for sure!

I hadn't been here for quite a while and I was getting the itch. So I stopped in for old times sake just to get the rush and thrill of throwing some money on the line!! So I walked up to the door handed the security guard 200$ and had him kick me in the nuts as hard as he could!!!! What a rush!! Just like I remembered, always a great time at grand casino Hinckley highly recommend!

Late check out? When is that offered? Not enough obviously as normal check out is at 11am. and sure enough the housekeeper was knocking on my hotel room door at 10:47 am although, I put the "DO NOT DISTURB " sign up on the door handle. Even used the master key to try and open the door. Not a happy customer this time for sure. Please accommodate late check out! If I have a sign up saying do not disturb, that's exactly what it means.

It's great to go to a Casino and not smell a bunch of cigarette smoke. It was great and the food was good.

I refused to go yet and I'm glad i declined. My little friend group lost over $600 each!!! The machines are much MUCH tighter than they ever were before. Making up lost revenue!! Having non-medical personal assess my health? (When you display that medical degree let me know) that's a no. And having to park so far away... And walk aaaallllllll the way back to where we usually play, just to find all the machines full... Nah. That's a no too. I'm glad i didn't go and I'm promising not to go until it returns to normal. Including the smoking areas. I only smoke when i play, it's a guilty pleasure i enjoy. I will be healthier at home.

Very disappointed that slot machines (ie: every other) were NOT disabled in order to promote social distancing, as I've seen in other casinos since reopening during pandemic. Also never saw anyone sanitizing the machines after a guest used them, or disinfectant wipe dispensers for you to wipe down your own machine like I've seen in other casinos. Hand sanitizer is avaiable, but the product itself is very slimy. In my opinion, the only thing they did right in their post COVID environment is making the facility NO smoking. Kudos for that Grand Casino!!!!
